Ecological Fire with Prescribed Burn Associations

Increasingly, land managers are making use of controlled burning, also called prescribed fire, as one tool in stewardship and wildfire resilience.

 

CLIMAS Environment & Society Graduate Fellow Andrea Steig has been working with self-organized and non-governmental prescribed fire organizations in California’s Sonoma and Marin counties, becoming a part of these resource-sharing and skill-sharing networks.
