Elena Greenberg

Research Evaluation Specialist

Elena Greenberg joined the CLIMAS staff in February 2025 as a Research Evaluation Specialist. She works on a NOAA-funded grant that investigates climate-based adaptation strategies. She also assists CLIMAS with program-wide evaluation. 

Previously, Elena served as a senior program coordinator within the Southwest Institute for Research on Women (SIROW) and managed a UArizona-based environmental science outreach program, called The Bio/Diversity Project. During this time, she also supported the work of the Community Research, Evaluation and Development (CRED) Team in conducting public health research and evaluation. Elena’s background also includes working on a variety of food systems issues, and she is a proud FoodCorps Arizona alumni.
