Colby will provide an overview of public sector and NGO programs that acquire water for environmental needs. She will discuss the growing role of private sector support and then focus on the complexities of evaluating these programs, drawing on her recent work with major conservation NGOs and foundations. Owen will discuss evaluating regional climate services using a variety of metrics, reflecting on her work with CLIMAS and NOAA-RISA evaluation activities.
