Xuan Vu

     I decided to go to graduate school and join the AREC program at UA because of the prospect of being able to do research with experienced professors here. I have a pretty good basic foundation in statistics from my undergraduate study in Mathematics at UA but I have not yet done much research. I hope that my graduate studies will enable me to accumulate good research and analytic skills, so that hopefully one day I might discover some useful information.

    Right now I am working for Prof. George Frisvold on a project to estimate the effects that the new policy HR 2454, the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, will have on agricultural production and economics. I am very excited to find out the results of our study.
