The US Southwest is highly vulnerable to the negative impacts of climate change.
Linkages between climate change and poverty are well documented in other regions. However little is known about how the poor experience climate change in the Southwest U.S. and even less about how the projected impacts of climate change will adversely impact this already vulnerable population.
The research will highlight issues at several scales, include engagement with stakeholders and communities to identify appropriate next steps, and potential strategies for reducing climate change impacts in communities
